In Fall of 2025, Blackbird Interactive approached Playwell Bricks with a request to create a custom promotional set Hardspace Shipbreaker game series. The budget on this project was very limited, but Jared was up to the task. Through a clever technique for attaching the front and back half of the model, along with some quality printing, the Mini Mackerel was born.
The first production run of this project was completed by Playwell Bricks in December, 2025 and was delivered to wide appeal. A new model featuring a brand new ship design is currently in development.
