“Thank you for agreeing to the Terms and Conditions” was a working concept for several months. This piece went through several iterations, from the inclusion of different artists’ pieces, multiple arms, and even a person lounging next to the arm. Each iteration felt like it was getting closer.
The streets are clean and perfect, and so is the street art. The lines are perfectly straight and Mondrian’s work is captured in perfect execution. Everything is perfect to the point of being uncanny.
The whimsical color and “innocence” of the robotic arm design brought this piece to it’s final iteration. This is not its fault. The fault is ours. We took the soul out of the art and left an empty facade in place.
