Creation began with repurposing a small part of an older model on the morning of New Year’s Eve in 2025. Jared saw more potential in his design for the citadel dome in Pareidolia, the fourth installment in Jared’s Micro-City series. The rest of the piece followed in stream-of-consciousness flow, until the portion of the model that now stands as the “statue” was complete. Jared added color, then removed it. The flow of creation had been broke. That thought led to an idea.
This piece stands as a representative of the flow of creation. It depicts the final strikes of the sculptor’s hammer on his masterpiece and acts as Jared’s inspiration for creation for 2026.
