“Duel on Jabiim” was inspired by the final duel in Episode 6 of the Disney Plus series “Obi-Wan Kenobi”, The model was designed and built as a showpiece model for the in-person events that Life In Pieces attend each year. The initial design was based on concept art from the show and was much larger, but was sized down to make the model easy to transport and store while not on display. The model base has several cavities throughout its interior that house lighting components for both of the lightsabers used in the build.
Jared broke down the build for social media, and for a highlight by the lighting manufacturer “Light My Bricks”. “Duel on Jabiim” was featured in the Bantha Bricks contribution to Brick Journal #87, along with an interview highlighting some of Jared’s other work.
